Canatu nanotubes - Application specific high-purity carbon nanomaterial

Canatu is developing industrial scale production methods for carbon nanotube films tailored for specific industrial applications. The nanotube films can be customized to contain specified features, including various patterns, purities, chemical functionality, electrical conductivity, transparency and other application driven properties.

Canatu's unique synthesis process produces high quality and high purity carbon nanotubes compared to existing processes. Canatu's proprietary methods allow direct deposition of synthesized carbon nanotubes from aerosol without the need to wet purify, separate and deposit. Canatu is developing this Direct Dry Printing (DDP)-technology further to be used in low cost printing of carbon nanomaterial components in industrial scale.

Examples of applications:

• transparent electrodes in touch sensors, solar cells and displays
• saturable absorbers in pulsed lasers
• semiconducting films in field effects transistors
