Canatu offers three classes of products for select long-term strategic commercialization partners.

  • High purity, superior crystallinity Single-Wall Nanotube and NanoBud™ thin film Evaluation Packages
  • Single-Wall Nanotube and NanoBud™ client specific Technology Demos on substrates and in devices

  • Development Projects in cooperation with clients for specific commercial applications


Canatu's initial product development interests are Nanotube and NanoBud™ -based components including transparent conducting thin films on flexible and rigid substrates for transparent electrodes (ITO replacement), electrostatic dissipation (EDS) and electromagnetic shielding (EMS), field emitting surfaces for field emission displays (FEDs) and lighting, saturable absorbers for pulsed lasers and optical signal regeneration and wave shaping and semiconducing films for thin film transistors (TFTs) and sensors.

At the moment, Canatu has industial demostration scale production facilities for nanotube and NanoBud™ patterned and homogeneous A4 sized thin films. The first specialty applications process optimization for thin films and thin film devices is currently underway. Partners are now sought for customer specific development of this demonstration equipment for large scale commercial production.
